This unique version of Cavalli’s 17th-century masterpiece brims full of beautiful music and wide-ranging emotions. With its sexual intrigue, cross-dressing, seduction and manipulation, its delightful romance, comedy and disguises, this work is thought-provoking, entertaining and uplifting. Come and enjoy the outstanding singing of our talented young soloists, accompanied by Ensemble OrQuesta Baroque (violins, cello, lute, baroque guitar, harpsichord and organ).
